Your goal In this role you will be a member of our IT Operations Team, which plays an important part within Swapfiets TECH department. Your function will be understanding our core systems and processes which you will dare to challenge when necessary. As an Application Manager you will ensure that our internal teams can work smoothly and their systems are always ready for uninterrupted business and operational needs. You will closely collaborate with Product Manager especially during the project development phase, but also with Key Users in regards to functional/ data related questions and issue resolution. You will manage and support core systems and make sure all processes are properly enforced, maintained and automated.
Responsibilities
Manage and support core systems to provide continuity
Handle and resolve 2nd & 3rd line cases, including coordination with external suppliers
Lead, signal and take necessary action in vulnerability issues via simulations, disaster recovery plans that include testing & other preventive measures
Support with communication and coordination around implementation of patches, new releases and integrations with end users.
Keep documentation of application up to date, incl. user manuals & create and maintain an application handbook
Responsible for authorization and role/permission assignment
Reporting on progress of operational issues to senior leadership, end/key users and stakeholders
Support master data migrations and resolve potential system issues
Propose improvements (technical and procedural) and if necessary escalate problems to team/manager/leadership
Monitor SLA’s and report abnormalities and deviations including conclusions, recommendations and actions
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will have
Higher vocational or academic working and thinking level on a data/statistics level
3 - 5 years of working experience in IT/Tech
Experience with Scrum way of working
Knowledge of statistics;
Experience with IT process and technology optimisation;
Excellent communication skills in English.
Programming & Data migration experience/skills are desirable
Proactive and independent, a team player by nature
