About the IT team
As a Jr. IT Systems Administrator, you will join our IT team within the FILP (Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement) department. Given that a significant portion of Ampelmann's business growth ambitions includes IT elements, this team plays a crucial role. The IT team comprises one Jr. Systems Administrator and two IT Systems Administrators. You will report directly to the IT manager.
Your role as Jr. IT Systems Administrator
In this role it is your job to ensure the reliability and security of data and efficiency of IT resources. You do this by providing support and maintaining, configuring and improving the usability of hardware and software. As you are the first point of contact on all IT related questions and challenges, you do this with an open, friendly and service-minded attitude. You also play a key role in identifying (innovative) opportunities to improve our IT environment to support our business.
Regular activities
Provide daily IT support to Ampelmann employees worldwide (face-to-face, phone, MS Teams etc.) and be of support to the 2nd line
Troubleshoot IT incidents, monitor security and implement improvements
Install, register and support both hardware (laptops, iPhones) and software (Windows 10, Microsoft Intune)
Administer and follow up on helpdesk tickets and write user manuals on recurring topics
Support and host Ampelmann’s companywide weekly business meeting
Identify user and technology trends and test new technologies
We ask
MBO degree (preferably directed towards IT) and 1 year experience or HBO degree (preferably directed towards IT)
<3 years of relevant work experience (having worked in an engineering firm is a plus)
Knowledge of Azure Fundamentals and other Microsoft products (e.g. Windows 10, Office365)
Proven experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and mobile device management software
Excellent communication skills in English (required) and Dutch (preferred)
