My role
- I am the financial sparring partner for the Marketing, Retail, Supply and Digital teams and proactively contribute to ongoing (ad hoc) business cases
- I’m able to oversee the A&P and REX across a part of our various division' portfolio, reflect on deviations and steer on opportunities and risks
- I consistently initiate improvement of the P&L, infuse a ROI mindset within the division and challenge when I see risks or inconsistencies vs. division Frame
My Responsibilities
Be the financial business partner for part of L’Oréal divisions brands, including:
- Actively participate in financial planning process in rolling estimates (trend) and budget periods in collaboration with other business functions
- Play key role in monthly closing and reporting process within the division in line with the policies and deadlines of the Group
- Ensure high level of compliance vs. L'Oréal Group & regular follow-up
- External audit => no adjustment to be performed after external audit review
- Internal Audit => follow-up on all actions plan (100% complete by EOY, + overall result to be "satisfactory" in case of new audit)
- Enforce compliance with Finance KPI
- PO Management, including Pay on Time: support business to ensure payment done on time
- Officialization: perform checks to ensure reporting accuracy, respect of timing
- Ensure proper transactional media reporting (incl. fair value), in coordination with Finance multidiv
- iClosing / Sustainable finance cockpit (or any new group tool) adoption
- Monitor costs and carry out all analyses required to identify risks and opportunities and to propose the appropriate actions, from sell-in to REX passing by gross margin and A&P management
- Accurate monthly reporting on brand P&L performance actual vs. budget / trend
- Challenge A&P budgets using zero-based budgeting principles and support business decisions based on return on investment insights.
- Get involved in implementation of projects ranging from internal auditing to the improvement of processes and departments; optimize results, thus contribute to the organization's dynamic growth
- Be in charge of a variety of duties and responsibilities that will enable you to interact with all levels of our internal organization (within the divisions + within the Finance Benelux community)

Requirements For The Job Are The Following
- At least 3 years of experience in comparable field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
- Analytical, cognitive/structured reasoning, use common sense to spot deviations
- Proficiency in Excel/ Powerpoint/ Power BI (optional)
- Acts as pro-active business partner
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self driven, responsive, challenge the status quo
- Thriving for Excellence
- Willing to do the hard work for the team, support where possible
- Able to navigate in complex matrix organization, dynamic environment
