Who is Stater anyway? You may have never heard of us, so we are happy to explain what we do. Within Stater we develop and provide mortgage services and platforms for external lenders. With our products and services we manage 40% of the mortgages in the Netherlands. Working with us means working for an organization that is at the heart of society with products that (indirectly) affect many Dutch families. Our customers include major Dutch banks and other lenders.
What will you do?
As a Solution Architect within Stater you are constantly looking to turn good ideas into durable solutions that can help us continue to meet current and future demands. You operate between our customers and different internal processes, focusing on IT System modifications and implementations. Together with our Business Architects and colleague Solution Architects you will shape, design and manage your architectural vision. When changes occure, you are the lead contact and expert.
Your responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining documentation to support teams.
Creating non-functional requirements to help our teams develop the highest quality.
Analyzing and resolving incidents.
Acting as an expert consultant during implementation phases.
Who are we looking for?
You are an experienced IT Architect or Software Developer who is comfortable in expressing your own vision and opinion. You are hands-on and know your team members well. You have strong communication skills and can consultate with different stakeholders throughout our organization but also with our clients.
Furthermore you have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Architect or Software Developer.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional and intellectual ability.
Broad knowledge and experience with developing integrations (SOAP/REST).
Broad knowledge and experience with developing modelling business processes, preferably in BPMN.
Experience in exploring, describing, aligning and deciding on architecture solutions.
TOGAF certification or willing to get certified.
Experience in Dutch mortgage services is a plus.
Experience with process optimization is a plus.
Experience with modelling in Archimate/BPMN/UML is a plus.

Our salary is made up of two components. In addition to a gross monthly salary between €5,222 to €6,528 (scale 22) based on experience, we offer a flexible deployment budget of another 18% of your gross annual salary. What will you use this budget for? Will you enjoy extra holiday days, do you prefer to have it paid out or will you choose another option? If you choose to get this flexible deployment budget paid out, you can increase your gross annual salary up to €92,520.
