We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in the EMEA region.
Job Purpose:
Source primarily “Financial Services” along the DHL sourcing process. Develop and implement sourcing concepts and processes in alignment with business stakeholders. Create business value and realize savings through Procurement activities.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare and conduct difficult negotiations in international environment, negotiated savings expected at minimum EUR 1 mn p.a.
Responsibility for EUR 25mn (+) spend
Lead RfIs and RfQs applying innovative sourcing methods e.g game theory and eAuctions
Develop contracts together with Legal Team
Integrate Procurement services for divisional and functional colleagues (all divisions are in scope). Achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensure satisfaction by meeting/exceeding demands in terms of quality, price and service and ensure purchasing compliance
Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of contracts.
Proactively identify areas for strategic sourcing initiatives
Engage in regional & global Category Team projects and deliver on special tasks
Your Profile:
3+ years of experience in procurement ideally in Financial Services (Accounting Services, Reclaims Management, Payment Solutions, Financial Information Services)
Solid knowledge of Procurement processes and tools
Digitally savvy
Good negotiator and knowledge of negotiation strategies and tools
Good communication and presentation skills
Highly structured with analytical and conceptual capabilities
Good problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
High quality and service orientation
Good ability to deal with conflicts, teamwork and assertiveness
Fluent English, further language skills (e.g. German) of advantage
