The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Uber Workplace team and lead a variety of complex analyses used in the development of deliverables focused on real estate strategies in support of Uber.
Essential Duties And Responsibilites
Provide support to the regional client Workplace lead and client sub-regional Portfolio Manager with portfolio strategy requests
Cultivates strong partnerships with client leadership and internal CBRE partners
Lead the regional development of short, medium and long term Real Estate strategies to improve the health of the client’s portfolio
Owning the development of business cases and presenting the findings and recommendations to the client
Update financial analyses and translate the financial output into recommendations
Translate ambiguous requests into clear deliverables
Support the Portfolio Strategy Global team with regional activities and implementation of global initiatives
Maintain and support adherence to key workplace processes (E2E) in the region, performs quality checks on key documentation (demand signal validation)
Be regional SME on the client’s Real Estate portfolio
Keep lease level strategy actions updated and accurate
Main regional portfolio strategy poc for ongoing projects
Validate lease level strategies for Long Range Planning and annual Capital Planning
Supports Portfolio Strategy analysis by compiling and validating regional portfolio data and business insights
Manages all external consultants and SMEs relating to strategy development and market analysis in region
Required Financial Knowlegde
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and corporate finance theory and common practices. Understanding of real estate valuation and accounting and how real estate is reported from a corporate finance perspective on both cash and book basis. Demonstrated financial modeling experience.
You will prepare and present deliverables in oral, written and visual formats relative to the client’s strategy, the industry and best practices as required. Your work location will vary between your Home, the Office of CBRE and the office of Uber, both are based in Amsterdam within the city ring.

You have completed your education at University Level (HBO or WO);
You are highly analytical and work accurately;
You have 5 years’ experience within Real Estate with emphasis on Strategic Planning, Occupancy Planning and Transaction Management;
You can cut through red tape and find alternative solutions
You are good at working independently, but are also a team player;
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
You have an excellent understanding of the English language.
