As a Relationship Manager you have good acquisition skills. You are creative, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial and have the intrinsic need as well as the skills to step out of your own comfort zone and approach and bring in new, large prospects in your own way. In addition, you move effectively in different networks. Moreover, you have sufficient knowledge of digital networks and actively use them to profile yourself through various social media.
You are a real deal maker, who goes 100% for the optimal result for both the customer and the bank. As a Relationship Manager you are an expert sparring partner for the customer. You understand the customer's strategic agenda down to the last detail and know how to translate it into correct and concrete advice for the customer. You have an excellent sense of what drives the customer, you have guts, you enter into substantive dialogue, you dare to give feedback and you are able to connect.
You are responsible for the customer relationship in the broadest sense and you are in charge in order to optimally meet customer needs. You work together with, among others, the account manager and you put the team interest above self-interest. Your role is not limited to real estate financing, but you also have an eye for cross-selling of other ING services and products. To be able to maintain your networks properly, you live near the office.
And last but not least, you are an enthusiastic ambassador for the Orange Code. Not only do you endorse it, but you also actively propagate the code.
Responsibilities
Which customers will you serve? In your position you work with and for great clients at the top end of the Real Estate market.
You are the regional figurehead for new and existing customers with an exposure >3 million;
Share knowledge about financing and sustainability in real estate;
Act as lead generator to other ING segments and Real Estate Specialists and Business Advisors RAT Real Estate, Private Banking etc;
You are the client's direct advisor in the field of Real Estate Finance applications and management, restructuring, renewals, sustainability and innovative initiatives;
The point of contact if there is a Watch List customer or a customer that is treated by GCR;
Responsible for managing and maintaining an existing client portfolio of approximately 40-45 clients with an average size of 600 million assets under management;
Act as deal captain for financing applications or (re) structuring and you are responsible for submitting these applications in the PRM and GLC;
You are primary risk contact for clients in your portfolio;
Actively involve the possibilities for OTD and Groenbank in advising the customer;
Provide the daily management of the RE CST based on customer requests and monitor communication timelines to the customer on the end-to-end process;
Prepare an annual plan for developments and acquisition opportunities in your portfolio and in the real estate market.

You are the expert strategic sparring partner for the customer
A sparring partner for customers with the aim of facilitating and challenging the customer in the further development of their company. You know the customer's strategic agenda, you challenge customers in conversations and you offer the correct and concrete solutions to realize this strategic agenda. You go further than just the ING offer.
Know the decision makers and influencers at the customer and you are able to switch well and quickly at all levels. And you know perfectly how to estimate when it is necessary to introduce other specialists to the customer.
You have built such a good relationship with customers that you are involved/called by the customer at important moments and at an early stage.
You are good at customer management and cross-sell
You are ultimately responsible for sustainable relationship management for your customer portfolio.
Monitor the overall performance at portfolio and customer level. You are responsible for the financial performance of your portfolio, with a focus on turnover and customer satisfaction.
Comply in your actions with the highest standards of external regulators, supervisors, the DNB and with the general code of conduct of ING NL, the Orange Code and with relevant specific policies.
You are good at acquisition
Responsible for acquiring new customers through all available channels and you are intrinsically motivated to bind new customers to ING.
Build relationships with prospects in a structured way and you ultimately know how to win them over as a customer for ING. You are a dealmaker who can bind customers based on guts, connection and expertise.
You can handle acquisition targets well and you have a clear acquisition plan. You are a director in the acquisition process (from identification of prospects, through the first contact to the deal or onboarding the relationship). In addition, you are able to involve other product specialists in the acquisition process in a timely manner.
You are a networker by nature
You create relevant networks with the aim of increasing your visibility, creating commercial opportunities and realizing deals.
You can profile yourself well within social media and you know how to use these media effectively to further strengthen your network position.
