Fractional Senior Finance Manager - LEKKER Bikes
LEKKER is an Amsterdam-born, Australia-raised independent bicycle and boating brand. Our boats and bikes enable people to move as they do in Amsterdam: free and out in the open, controlling your route, sharing the experience with others, or taking off on a solo adventure. We live by our values of freedom, transparency, joy and co-creation.
LEKKER Bikes is seeking an Amsterdam-based Fractional Senior Finance Manager to join the team. If you live by the keywords eBikes, eCommerce, Omnichannel, Adventure and Joy, we have a great opportunity for you!
Since our inception over ten years ago, we have grown from an Australia-based start-up to a fast-growing international DTC-driven bicycle brand active in our core markets of Australia, The Netherlands and Germany. LEKKER Bikes operates with an international team of 35 bicycle enthusiasts from five flagship stores and two key offices in Amsterdam and Melbourne.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager with experience in the eCommerce space who understands our mission.

You improve key business decisions and execution of the business strategy by providing useful financial insights.
You maintain the company’s rolling forecast, together with core budget owners, and provide executive-level analysis for major shareholders and the board of directors.
You proactively manage cash flow and direct short-term and long-term planning and budget development with the team to support strategic business goals.
You continue to build on the already-in-place financial reporting and ensure timely reporting internally to the team and externally to the Supervisory Board, shareholders, bank and stakeholders (monthly and quarterly).
You actively manage key relations with the supervisory board, bank and other key stakeholders.
Deliver annual accounts in partnership with the company’s external auditors (2023 is done, 2024 will be signed in Summer 2025).
Together with the Managing Director, you spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective (growth) strategies and plans.
You provide leadership and management guidance in alignment with LEKKER Bike’s mission and core values.
You support the team in everyday operations with a calming presence, making it easy and fun to operate, smoothing out difficulties, listening and supporting stakeholders through change and leading by example.

You possess the skill to quickly separate the ‘need to have’ from the ‘nice to have’ and make trade-offs on where to invest time and money.
You believe in an integrative team working style and are easy to contact and adapt rapidly. You can foster team spirit and help a young but very eager and talented team develop themselves further.
You have the ability to influence and motivate others positively. You also have strong commercial and negotiating abilities.
