We are looking for a Finance Manager - Accounting & Control to join our finance and accounting #Squad of Breitling Netherlands located in Lijnden (Schiphol). This is the Dutch office supporting local wholesale and retail with approx. 50FTE. In your position, you will report directly to the Finance Director for BNL & Europe Ecom and the Managing Director of Breitling Netherlands. This position is a great next step for a junior with min. 4 years of experience who is aspiring for a senior role.
Your responsibilities:
Managing 1 FTE in charge of all daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, fixed assets and reconciliations for bank accounts and petty cash. You will supervise the development and personal growth of your team.
Preparing and performing month-end closing and month-end reporting, for Dutch entity of Breitling including full P&L and Balance Sheet and CashFlow reconciliations.
Working with local management to ensure smooth monthly reporting in accordance with both local and global HQ reporting requirements.
Tracking progress of financial and accounting objectives on various aspects of the Company’s financial performance and financial position.
Assisting in detailed annual budgeting and re-forecasting throughout the year.
Preparing and performing year-end closing & reporting and liaising with auditors to assist with annual statutory audits.
Optimizing net working capital and managing liquidity, including weekly CashFlow planning.
Managing various insurances within the business.
Assisting in HR operational activities, such as payroll and HRIS management, as well as in HR programs as agreed with the corporate HR.
Representing the interests of the company towards external partners such as tax authorities, banks, insurances, business partners.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related Finance discipline.
You have minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury goods industry or audit company experience in the relevant industries will be beneficial.
You have a good understanding of local accounting rules and Tax Law with regards to commercial activities.
You are generally proficient with financial software and Microsoft Excel.
You can work independently whilst following HQ’s guidelines.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
You speak Dutch and English fluently (mandatory).
