The Role
Aroundtown are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for their Amsterdam office in The Netherlands. As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control of the company.
The Financial Controller may also be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities
Ensure correctness of information recorded by AP and AR departments.
Review the financial transaction recorded over the period.
Take ownership of the numbers and understand drivers for changes in income and cost.
Book prepayments and accruals on a quarterly basis.
Book IFRS adjustment appropriately.
Calculate and book CIT expenses.
Analyze and explain budget vs actual Q over Q deviation.
Prepare reconciliation for BS accounts.
Prepare quarterly reporting package according to IFRS.
Prepare Cash flow report.
Prepare annual financial statements based on Dutch GAAP.
Support service charges team with the annual service charge settlement.
Your Skills & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor degree
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Fluent in English
Excellent knowledge of Excel
3-6 years of relevant experience
Extensive knowledge in IFRS and Dutch GAAP
High communicative skills, proactive and self-starting
Desired:
Real estate experience
Experience with Yardi.
