This position has recently become available due to the incumbent moving to another role within the Group.

What will you do?
As the Financial Controller, you are part of the financial team. The department is responsible for keeping the records of several Dutch legal entities. We work with the AccountView accounting package and a custom ERP software package, plus lots of excel.
Your duties include:
Manages all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing.
Reviews, evaluates and implements accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensures all financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepares and presents financial statements and related reports including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
Working with the local Sales Team to produce weekly and monthly forecasts for the operation and reviewing with VP of EMEA Sales.
Responsible for adhering to Amphenol Corporate policies as well as monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares and presents monthly financial statements.
Coordinates annual independent audit and preparation of annual tax documents.
Directs budget preparation, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification for proposed budgets.
Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress.
Ensures compliance with statutory payroll and property tax reporting.
Monitors receivables to ensure credit risk is mitigated.
Oversees accounts payable function including but not limited to compliance with expense reporting, capitalization policy, and purchase order procedures.
Assists with company strategic planning.
Assists with special projects as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Carries out possible supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
What we ask of you:
A financial MBO education with minimum 5 years of experience as a controller.
Good knowledge of Word and Excel and several years of administrative experience.
2 years experience with detailed financial analytics, to include management discussion with sales and operational leads.
Experience with AccountView is a plus.
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language and a good command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
You are accurate, goal-oriented and you can work well together. You also have problem-solving skills and a great sense of responsibility.
You live in the immediate vicinity of Almere.
