We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Controller to streamline operational efficiencies and support our dynamic Finance team. You will be part of the Business Control & Risk team and play a crucial role in enhancing internal and external reporting by gathering, organizing and analyzing financial data. You will support the business controllers in managing the budget and month-end activities for the Service hub and Real Estate team. Additionally, you will be involved in optimization projects and documenting the internal processes as well as the functional translation into Finance Systems. What You’ll Do:
Assist in preparing the financial reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for each department. This includes variance analysis and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities;
Create, manage and update financial models (e.g. budget, forecast and business cases) and collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor and control the budgets, ensuring our financial targets are met
You will play a central role in creating financial reports within our financial reporting systems; Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of allocation strategies;
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and optimization projects as needed;
Implementation and documentation of internal processes and SOP management;
Support with functional setup of Finance systems.
Who You Are:
1-2 years of relevant work experience in Business Controlling, Accountancy or Financial Controlling;
You have a Bachelor’s or Master degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field;
A true passion for the hospitality and real estate industry;
You are an Excel and data management wizard – many say they are great at Excel, few truly are – and are familiar with Financial Software and EPM/ERP systems.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail;
Proficiency in English is essential (written and spoken);
Multi-tasker, problem solving mind-set with a can-do attitude and the ability to meet deadlines and work independently;
Strong communication skills;
A Dutch or EU citizen or in possession of a valid work permit.
