SEPAM is building a project team for a client in Amsterdam. This is a multi-million-euro investment in the Food and Agri industry that will see the development of a world-class facility that will help fuel renewable energy solutions for a global client.
Job Opportunity
We are hiring a Document Controller in Amsterdam that will help manage this exciting project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management and organization of all company documents while providing essential support to the estimation department. The Document Controller will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining an organized electronic and physical document management system for the project.
Receive, review, and categorize incoming documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company, client & project standards.
Collaborate with various departments to gather, update, and organize documents, manuals, and reports.
Maintain version control and track revisions for important documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Monitor document workflows, ensuring timely approvals, reviews, and distribution.
Implement and enforce document management policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Train and guide employees on document control processes and best practices.
Generate reports and provide insights on document control activities to management.
Assist the estimation department in preparing and coordinating project proposals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required documents, drawings, and specifications for proposals.
Organize proposal content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
Knowledge & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a document controller in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of document management principles, processes, and best practices.
Experience working with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
This position is based in Amsterdam Monday-Friday on site and in the Project Office. Due to the nature of the work and position this role does not offer remote / hybrid opportunities at present.
