As an IT security officer, you play a key role in NN Bank's technological journey to become the digital retail bank of the Netherlands. NN Bank has created a cloud foundation and moved a large number of its applications to the cloud.
You will have the opportunity to further improve the security of our cloud platforms and support our DevOps teams in their secure development of advanced applications and technologies. In addition to in-house developed and managed applications, NN Bank also uses SaaS solutions.
The specific responsibilities of the IT Security Officer include:
Assessing security documentation and providing advice to your aligned business domain within NN Bank
Be the trusted security advisor to your aligned business domain on all their IT security requirements
Assessing (new) service providers regarding their security compliance posture (Vendor Security Assessment)
Play an active role in improving the security fundamentals for NN Bank and developing best practices and security standards along with NN Bank's security officers
Identifying current and emerging security technologies, trends, vulnerabilities, and threats, and playing an active part in managing risks
Automating recurring manual work in IT security control
Supporting and coaching DevOps teams in their secure software development process and promoting (cloud-native) application security

Salary between €3.415 and €4.878 depending on your knowledge and experience

What You Will Bring
At least 2 years working in a security related domain with holistic understanding of Security Fundamentals is a MUST HAVE
Understanding and familiarity with AWS / Azure
Hands on development experience and working knowledge of different DevOps tools is strongly appreciated
Security certifications are good to have, although not mandatory
Language skills: English. Dutch is considered an Asset, although not essential

You are part of the NN Bank IT Security and Control team, responsible for the information security of NN Bank. The team, consisting of four security officers and a security engineer, is part of the transformation and technology organization, and you are in the middle of it all. The team has technical and process specialists and, together, we keep NN Bank and its customers safe.
