ICT Infrastructure Analyst– Azure/Cloud (1.0 FTE)
With headquarters located in Breda (the Netherlands), Vroon employs about 1,400 professionals in offices around the world and on board a diverse fleet of approximately 65 deepsea and offshore vessels. The Company is active through various subsidiaries and under different brand names, with a focus on its specialised fleets of product and high-heat tankers, livestock carriers and emergency response and rescue vessels.
From our Breda office, approximately 95 staff support the Company’s activities.
The ICT Department provides support to Vroon offices, vessels and employees worldwide.
What will you do?In this position, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring the performance and sustainability of our overall ICT infrastructure;
- Providing support for our office IT systems, which are primarily based on Microsoft Azure technologies;
- Working together with our ICT Service Desk and ICT Business Applications teams to identify and solve re-occurring issues, and improve processes;
- Continuously monitoring, optimising and improving Vroon's cyber-security posture;
- Identifying, proposing and implementing opportunities for improvements that are beneficial to business colleagues working at our Management Companies in the Netherlands, Manila, Singapore and the United Kingdom, and ensuring value is delivered;
- Being actively involved in the implementation of ICT infrastructure projects, as well as business-driven implementation.
In this position, you report to the ICT Infrastructure Manager.
Who are we looking for?The preferred candidate has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology;
- A minimum of four years’ experience in an ICT infrastructure/system administrator position;
- Experience with Microsoft cloud services;
- Relevant associate degree certificate(s) in the Microsoft-365 ecosystem would be a bonus;
- Good analytical skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English;
- Ability to focus and get things done;
- Ability to work effectively within a team;
- Eagerness to learn and develop his/her career;
- You are a self-starter and are able to manage stakeholders.
