Organization
Our client is a European market leader in its field with revenues of approximately 250 million Euros. As part of a global enterprise (with revenues in excess of 1 billion) the organization is highly successful. To further support their growth they are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a new position; you will be part of a team of Financial Controllers and report into the Group Controller. Fluent English is necessary for this role, any other European language is a plus. The ideal candidate is technically solid and has the potential to grow within the organization. No sponsorship.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide executive team and relevant stakeholders with financial data to be able to make important financial decisions
Responsible for monthly-, quarterly and annual reporting, budget- & forecasting analysis and liquidity forecasts
Actively participate in projects
Pro-actively involved in corporate income tax, VAT and other tax related reporting tasks
Qualifications
Educated to a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
At least 4/5 years experience in a relevant, similar role
Technically strong, good understanding of Dutch - and US GAAP
Strong communicator, has the potential to grow within the organization
IT savvy, especially Excel and accounting software in general
Fluent English is a must
Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
Salary
75/80k base + bonus (company performance related) + non-contributory pension (premium free) benefits
