Your mission as a Financial ControllerAs a Plant Controller you will realize the ambitious financial targets for our location in Rotterdam. You will identify and lead areas for improvements, conduct analysis of actual versus forecasts in close cooperation with local stakeholders. Next to that, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective allocation of resources, advising stakeholders on their departments’ financial performance, expenses and relevant business KPI’s.

- Providing strategic insights and analysis to support plant management in making informed decisions that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Driving the annual budgeting process, working closely with different departments
- Identifying hidden business performance opportunities and risks for operations and across other sites.
- Leading and coordinating finance related projects with focus on continuous improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenarios and benchmarking as needed and contribute to cost control initiatives.
- Preparing and presenting your findings on a regular basis.
Being responsible for accounting & financial reporting within compliance directives (IFRS).

Have you got what iAs a Plant Controller you have relevant working experience (3-5 years) in finance and you are ready to make a next step. You are ambitious and see this function as part of your further development. You can work independently and take a proactive approach to initiate areas of improvement.
Further to this you recognize yourself in the following points:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business administration, Economics, or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse and Excel, Power BI is preferable
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Proven knowledge on management control cycles, costing t
- ools, etcExcellent communication skills
- Affinity and interest in working with cross functional teams
- Fluency in English both verbal and written, Dutch is a big advantage
